Suubi vulnerable children and women organization is a CBO founded by a group of women in 2018 with the vision of educating and supporting vulnerable children and women.
We started suubi vulnerable children and women organization to support the children and women , improve their livelihood and also acquire formal education. So far we have 500 children under our care.

youth and women to be self-sufficient through supporting their formal education and vocational as a means of economic empowerment.

The overall objective of the program is to develop the potential of Children and women to be menstrual health champions, community leaders, and social entrepreneurs

Menstrual Health

Improved Menstrual Health Hygiene Management practices.

entrepreneurial skills

Improved entrepreneurial skills and livelihood among 300 pupils and community leaders.

Improved access to and use of SRHR information and services among out of 180 school girls and women.

SUVUCWO is committed to empowering vulnerable children, women, and communities through education, entrepreneurship, and social development programs. We focus on menstrual hygiene management, child protection, gender-based violence prevention, and economic empowerment through skills training and financial inclusion initiatives.

We provide menstrual hygiene education and training in schools by:

  • Training pupils and teachers on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM).
  • Establishing Suubi Clubs to promote awareness and peer mentorship.
  • Providing reusable sanitary pads and training students to make them.
  • Integrating entrepreneurship training to create sustainable solutions.

We equip community members with business and financial skills through:

  • Training on social enterprise development and management.
  • Establishing and registering Village Savings & Loan Associations (VSLAs).
  • Providing financial support to VSLAs and individual entrepreneurs.
  • Teaching financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills to help families generate income.
